Just minutes away from the archeological site
of Monte Alban, if you are looking for a centrally located

located just 1 ½ blocks from Santo Domingo, the postcard picture
church of Oaxaca. At Santo Domingo you will find not only the
most beautiful church in all of Mexico, but also a wonderful
museum containing professional exhibits that illustrate the
history of Oaxaca. Surrounding the church are several acres of
botanical gardens that display many of the native plants of the
region. You could easily spend a day enjoying Santo Domingo and
all that it has to offer. But that’s not all!
We are pleased to recommend more than 10 restaurants within a 3
block radius and 4 parks within that same radius. We are blessed
with 10 magnificent, 300 year old churches, all within a 10
minute walk. To see our famous zócalo you need only stroll 10
minutes along a pedestrian-only walkway. If
you have the desire to experience the surrounding areas, make
sure you talk with Judith. Judith is a registered tour guide and
can help arrange tours to such exciting places as Monte Albán,
Mitla, Teotitlán del Valle, Zaachila, or San Bartolo Coyotepec,
the home of the Oaxaca black pottery. After
spending your day sightseeing, eating and enjoying you will
return to Ollin and find that you have selected the quietest
location in all of Oaxaca. We are located on a street that is
only 2 blocks long, thus none of those noisy local busses
interfere with your tranquility. (we are one of very few that
can make that distinction) If you still have the energy, take a
dip in the pool, meditate in one of the many patios, or make
like a native and take a siesta before dinner.
